Yolande qualified in 2002 from the University of Sydney with Honours, and has accrued vast experience working in Australia, the UK and New Zealand. She has recently completed her Master in Veterinary Medicine through Massey University (2019). Yolande has special interests in avian medicine and surgery, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, dentistry, animal behaviour and oncology. Yolande is also Low Stress Handling® Silver Certified.
Outside of work Yolande is a busy mum (both human, feathered and fur babies) and enjoys art, reading, music, skiing and swimming.
I am the proud owner of Maisy (Border Collie x Springer Spaniel), Bonnie (Foxie cross), five cats (Harriet, Binky, Lily, Michael & Margaret), three guinea pigs and a large number of rescued birds and wildlife.
We're your local vet! We are conveniently located in Rolleston on Jones road - we are close to Main South road with easy access from all directions and we have ample parking. We are not part of a chain or corporate - we are an independent and family-owned business.
